About The Tournament

Since 1996, from humble beginnings (with 43 teams), to today with annual attendance of more than 150 teams – The Gold Coast Champions Cup has evolved into one of the premier events of its kind – in the world! The Gold Coast Champions Cup is an international youth football tournament and cultural exchange held at Sid Bigg Park, Mudgeeraba, in Australia’s Premier international tourist destination the Gold Coast, Queensland – in September school holidays each year. Legendary coach of the Australian National team (The Socceroos), Mr. Rali Rasic (OAM) believes the Gold Coast Champions Cup is by far the best international youth football tournament held in Australia. On a feature report on SBS television, the legend gave high praise to the tournament saying that in his experience the Gold Coast Champions Cup was staged in the best facility and was the best organized and best conducted International Youth Tournament.
